Friday Music - Parokya Ni Edgar

One of my favorite filipino bands, great sense of humor (good videos) and good music not unlike (notice the double negatives) Weezers, Cake and The President of the United States. The first is "The ordertaker" and the second song is "Don't Touch My Birdie" (if you need translation click here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O8XYzf6PuWo and third song "Picha pie" (remake of "I will survive). Must catch them live next time I am in the Phillipines.

What Not To Do As A Father! - Sing YMCA

This happened in 2003 when Ashe (2nd from left) attended a JCI Malaysia Area Sabah Dinner which had a Karaoke competition. Witnessed to this was my borther-in-laws Julz (toilet brush hair) and Jus.

The Karaoke competition worked out well until they called me up to be the guest singer while the judges calculated the points (I was oviously "over qualified" to compete). I decided to sing "YMCA" by the Village People. It was pretty bad but I thought the guests enjoyed. I was worse than this guys!!!

When I went back to the table Ashe was balling her eyes out of embarrassment. So I knew I had something here !!

Friday Music - May 7th

Dedicated to one of the most underachiving football club that I have the honour of supporting. Tottenham made a historical achievement on Wednesday the 5th May (wee hours on the 6th here in KK) when it defeated Man City 1-0 to confirm 4th Spot (not top spot) . The funny things after waking up at 4am to watch the match I miss the goal cos I had to poop!!!
It seem sad that 4th spot seems like winning a cup but it confirms participation of Champions League next year (well at least the qualifiers) but it is an opportunity to earn up to 30 million pounds, and we may still have the opportunity to pip Arse@al for 3rd!!
